Police have arrested a man who they said opened fire inside a Millcreek Township apartment on Sunday.

Timothy Bailey, 36, was arraigned Wednesday on charges including reckless endangerment, possession of instruments of crime, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Officers were called to the residence in the 3000 block of W. 38 St. around 10:39 a.m. Sunday for a welfare check on Bailey, who had been involved in an argument with a family member.

Police who responded to the apartment said they found Bailey had fired multiple rounds from a gun before they arrived, but no one was injured.

Bailey was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of a medical condition. He was released Wednesday then arraigned and taken to the Erie County Prison with bond set at $150,000 straight.
