Starting Sunday, massive sweeps by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are set to proceed across the country. The raids will target least 2,000 immigrants listed for deportation. The raids are not limited to Sunday and will happen over the next several days, with at least 10 major cities being the primary targets of the operation according to the New York Times.

The 2,000 targeted individuals aren't the only ones who could be taken into custody as others in the United States illegally may also be apprehended.
The news comes a few weeks after President Trump delayed plans for the initial nationwide raids.

Advocate groups like Erie County United are reminding people of their rights, including not having to allow ICE agents to enter their home unless they have a warrant signed by a judge.  Erie County is one of several in Pennsylvania that cooperates with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
