Troopers confiscated $11,415,911 worth of heroin, fentanyl, and other illegal drugs from the start of April through the end of June 2019, Pennsylvania State Police announced.

Drugs seized include 84 pounds of heroin and nearly 33 pounds of fentanyl with a combined street value of more than $3.1 million.

The illegal drugs were found during routine traffic stops as well as in-depth investigations involving several law enforcement agencies, according to State Police.

More than over $5.7 million in illegal drugs, including 22 pounds of heroin and fentanyl, were confiscated by State Police in the first quarter of 2019.
