A man accused of a robbery in Millcreek Township is connected to the case of a double homicide in Crawford County, Millcreek police said.

Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, a man was inside the Kwik Fill Gas Station at W. 38th St. and Sterrettania Rd. in Millcreek purchasing some items. He noticed a clerk handling some money at the lottery station of the store. He went out to his car, came back with a gun, and demanded money. Close to $1,000 was taken.

A description of the vehicle - a silver, four-door Lincoln sedan - and surveillance video of the suspect matched the description of Jack Elijah Turner, who is a person of interest in a double homicide in Crawford County.

Shannon Whitman, 49, and her 10-year-old son were found shot to death at Whitman's home on Route 198 in Randolph Township on Saturday night.
