Family Holds Vigil For Dalvin Pacley
An Erie family holds a vigil for their toddler after he was killed in Sunday morning's daycare fire. Dalvin, 2, was one of the five children who passed away in this tragedy; however he was not related to the other victims. His mother, Karina Facchiano, led an emotional ceremony as she honored the life of her little boy.
Family friends and local residents came together to show support for the family. The community developed a new motto called, "814 strong" so that the families know they are not alone in this painful time. Dalvin's aunt from his father's side, Debra Pacely, told us that the outstanding support from the community is what is keeping their family going.
There will be a fundraiser held at the Booker T. Washington Center from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Sunday. The donations will go to funeral costs.
