Lettie G. Howard was built in 1893 and is believed to be the last surviving example of a Fredonia fishing schooner, a type of vessel once commonly used in the North Atlantic. She is a National Historic Landmark. Lettie joined Niagara at the Erie Maritime Museum in June 2018, as a programmatic collaboration between the South Street Seaport Museum in New York City and the Flagship Niagara League.
