Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of a gun from a vehicle parked at a business in Harborcreek Township.

It happened at the Rite Aid at 4145 Buffalo Rd. around noon Thursday.

A 40-year-old man parked his vehicle in the side lot of the store and went inside for about 30 minutes, State Police said. However, he left the door unlocked and the gun in plain view, according to troopers.

Investigators said the gun was taken by an unknown black male.
