In less than 24 hours of receiving her crown, the 2019 Crawford County Fair Queen had her crown stripped from her.

Sarah Colgrove of Cochranton was named the 2019 Crawford County Fair Queen and within hours the crown and sash were taken from her. Sarah lost her queen title due to an infringement of the contests rules. MC of the contest, Joe Vilkie said, "Sarah was seen at the Cochranton Community Fair with her sash and crown on. According to contest rules you are not allowed to attend another fair with your crown and sash on unless you are invited."
It was Joe's first time working the Crawford County Fair Queen contest however, this was not the first time a queen has been stripped of her crown.
Several years ago due to a social media incident the queen was asked to return her sash and crown.

Sarah was crowned on Saturday and it was then on Tuesday that she was asked to bring her sash and crown to a meeting with the chairman of the pageant committee, Dean Maynard.
According to Joe, the runner up of the contest will be crowned queen Saturday morning at the fair grounds
