The morning thunderstorms with high winds that swept through the region hit hard in north eastern Ohio.

 North Kingsville and Ashtabula took the brunt of the storm around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

The area experienced winds as high as 60-miles-per-hour, which knocked down many trees and some power lines.

The First Warning Weather team said the thunderstorm intensified as it headed to the north east.

The storm swept through the Erie region and headed into New York state where it dissipated.

Another storm caused some damage in Warren County, PA as well.

There were no reports of any injuries.
