A fire tore through a car dealership in Conneaut Lake, creating smoke that could be seen from a distance and heavily damaging the building.

It was reported at Lake Road Auto Sales at 13988 Conneaut Lake Rd. around 5 p.m.

Flames could be seen coming from the building, including a few garage bays with vehicles inside.

Only the shell of the building was left behind.

There's no word on what started the fire.
