Competitors from 18 States and Canada are taking part in the Barber Beast on the Bay.

For the second straight year, James Dobrich is the top fundraiser, collecting $4,241. His three-year total for the Barber National Institute is nearly $9,000.

Alan Will is a member of the Pa. Blinded Veterans Association and will be guided through the Beast, with help from his son, Jared. 

Karen Groshek has been doing the Beast every year in honor of her son, Erik, who is participating on the Adaptive Course.

Three new obstacles have been added to Beach 6.
