Abaco Residents Flee Decimated Island a Week After Hurricane Dorian Hit
Bahamians are starting to pick up the pieces of their lives a week after being hit by then category five Hurricane Dorian.
Residents of Abaco were hit hardest and woke up to a post-apocalyptic scene after Dorian passed.
With the death toll at 43 people and climbing, many people are still unsure if their loved ones survived, but are choosing to flee the decimated island of Abaco.
Abaco residents say they need to leave and start their lives over, but hope to return home to Abaco at some point.
