THE WEEK AHEAD
The week ahead is expected to be really hot for the beginning of the week and really cool for the end of the week!
Summer-like air will be hanging around on Monday and Tuesday as a warm front lifts north of the region, bringing a ton of warm, humid air along with it. Temperatures will be in record territory! The forecast high temperature for Monday is 82, and the record at Erie International Airport is 84, which was set in 1954. The forecast high temperature for Tuesday is 88, and the record is 86, which was set in 1927. Tuesday is the most likely day where we will see record breaking temperatures.
A cold front will swing through on Wednesday, causing our temperatures to take a nose-dive! This week's weather is like a roller coaster! Because of the much cooler air behind the cold front, temperatures on Thursday and Friday will likely be in the lower-to-middle 60's. Next weekend looks cool too, with high's in the 60's!
Enjoy the mixture of Spring, Summer, and Fall, all in one week!
