The NHL Central Scouting Services released its preliminary 2020 draft players to watch list, and three Otters are named as top draft-eligible players.

Defenseman Jamie Drysdale and received A ratings by the scouting service. That indicates players who are currently expected to be potential first-round selections.

Goalie Aidan Campbell was first rated as a B. This means he is expected to be taken as either a second or third-round selection, according to the league scouts.

Hayden Fowler and Brendan Hoffman were given a C rating indicating he could be a potential 4th-6th round pick.

All three have been off to strong starts for Erie in its first seven games.

Drysdale has notched two goals and 11 points in just the first three weeks of his second season. He is considered by multiple outlets to be a potential top-ten selection.

Aidan Campbell is off to a near-perfect start to his OHL tenure. The Rookie netminder for the Otters is 3-0 with a 3.00 goals against and a .893 save percentage. He has allowed just four goals in his past two starts after giving up five on the road against Hamilton in his OHL debut.

After missing a majority of last season with a collarbone injury, Hayden Fowler has started strong this year. He is tied for third on the team with four goals in just five games.

The 2020 NHL draft will take place June 26-27 in Montreal, Quebec.
