Police have issued an arrest warrant for the suspect in an Erie stabbing early Sunday morning.

Lamont Snider, 27, of Erie, is wanted on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime and two counts of simple assault

Emergency crews were called to the parking lot of Scooters in the 2800 block of Old French Rd. around 2:30 a.m. for a 30-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

Investigators say the stabbing followed a fight inside the bar, which spilled outside.

Snider allegedly stabbed the victim seven times, the victim suffered severe injuries, which Erie Police say are not life threatening.

According to police, the victim identified Snider through a photo lineup, and investigators also used surveillance video from inside the bar as part of their investigation in identifying Snider.
