US Marshals arrest an Erie man Wednesday morning, wanted for attempted homicide.

Lamont Snider, 27, is now in custody, facing charges in connection to a weekend stabbing outside of an Erie bar.

He's facing charges including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Erie police had a warrant out for Snider’s arrest, after naming him as their suspect on Monday, for a stabbing outside of Scooter's bar at 28th and Old French Road, around 2:30 Sunday morning.

Investigators say Snider stabbed a 30-year-old man seven times, following a fight inside the bar.

The victim suffered severe injuries, but were not life threatening.

Members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Snider at a home in the 600 block of east 9th street, early Wednesday morning.
