Erie received a visit from C-SPAN as its state-of-the-art bus pulled into Perry Square Wednesday morning.

The bus serves as a mobile classroom and production studio.

Members of the public were invited aboard, and visitors could learn about the electoral college, take quizzes on the three branches of government and watch videos on the current presidential candidates.

Each visitor also had the opportunity to sound off on the issues they want the presidential candidates to address.

"We ask people what is the issue that you want people to be focused on in 2020," said Joel Bacon, a representative for C-SPAN. "What do you want the candidates talking about? What are the issues that are actually mattering to you?"

The C-SPAN bus is winding down a seven-week tour of battleground states for the 2020 presidential election.

The tour ends in New Hampshire Oct. 18.
