Man Wanted for Beating, Robbing Terminally Ill Woman Turns Himself in
The man wanted for beating and robbing a terminally ill woman in Erie turned himself in to police late Friday morning.
Christopher Mosco, 38, was wanted by Erie Police on charges of simple assault, burglary, robbery, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
Investigators said he attacked Donna Lilley, a woman who is terminally ill with cancer, inside her home last week. He beat Lilley and took her purse, which contained her pain medications - nearly 100 morphine pills and fentanyl patches, according to police.
Erie News Now has learned Mosco was Lilley's former caretaker and working for Voices for Independence at the time.
We also uncovered Mosco has an extensive criminal history.
