Pennsylvania State Police are asking for your help to track down a truck who failed to stop for troopers in Union Township, Erie County Friday evening.

Troopers said they attempted to stop a red pickup truck for unsafely passing an unmarked State Police vehicle on Old Meadville Rd. around 7:40 p.m.

The truck failed to stop after troopers activated the vehicle's lights and sirens and continued to drive unsafely, according to State Police.

It then turned north on Union LeBoeuf Rd. and came to an abrupt stop at the intersection with Rt. 6 because of oncoming traffic from the east and west, troopers said.

The red truck turned west onto Rt. 6 then went north Vincent Rd., where troopers said they discontinued the attempted traffic stop because of the time of day, road conditions and the safety of other drivers.

The vehicle involved is a red, 2005 Dodge RAM 1500 with the Ohio plate GNY4015. The plate was obtained when the truck abruptly stopped at Union LeBoeuf Rd. and Rt. 6, according to troopers.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police in Corry at 814-663-2043.
