A 90's dance party got underway Saturday evening at Rainbow Gardens.

People who attended had a chance to relive the decade for one night.

Many dressed up and danced the part, including Erie News Now assignment editor, Adam Snow.

Many sponsors make this event possible.  It's become a signature fund-raising event for NAMI of Erie County.  The acronym stands for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Locally the organization provides mental health education to individuals, families, and the community.

Denise Kolivoski, Executive Director of NAMI said,  "This dance is fun, but our mission isn't as light hearted. We folks to think about to NAMI and our educational programs not only tonight but throughout the year when they do have mental health issues or know someone who needs help."

Kolivoski said they impact over 65-hundred people a year at no cost, thanks to events like this.
