Dan Ouellet (R) defeated incumbent supervisor John Groh (D) in the race for the open seat on the Millcreek Township Board of Supervisors. Ouellet, a former fireman, credited the community's desire for better roads and a solution to the problems of flooding in the region as parts of the reason they voted for him. He also said that the community wants better communication from its supervisors, something he plans to offer as soon as he's in office.

"I want to thank the voters of Millcreek for their confidence in me and I am going to work hard for them, that's what I'm hear for I want to be accessible," Ouellet said.

Ouellet will begin his term in January 2020.
