Interstate 90 Reopens After Semi Jackknifes
Interstate 90 in western Erie County has reopened after a semi jackknifed Monday night.
It was reported in the westbound lanes near mile marker 14 in the Girard/Platea area just after 10 p.m.
A couple semi trucks jackknifed, closing part of the interstate.
Crews from Cranesville, Fairview and Platea were called to divert traffic off the interstate until the semis could be removed.
One person suffered injuries.
State Police are investigating how it happened, but road conditions are believed to have played a role.
