Madeline's Dining & Events opened in July at the location of the former Crowley's Restaurant along Route 18.

And it is already attracting plenty of customers.

A group of ten investors owns the business. After buying the property they went to work making renovations and improvements, while keeping the signature wood furniture and interior, and the scenic ponds out back.

Regular customer David Cope loves the look.

he said, "The atmosphere is beautiful."

The menu has something for everyone.

Co-owner Justin Herring said, "We are trying to have comfort food but nice steak and seafood. So you can come out for a birthday or anniversary or you can come out here on any Friday or Saturday night."

And customers come from a wide area.

Co-owner Rob Ruznik said, "the customers come from the whole area, all the way from Ashtabula to Harborcreek to Edinboro. Of course we do get a lot of neighborhood folks in from Albion, Cranesville and Girard."

Madeline's a a big place, with 225 seats, with plenty of room for special events.

Already Madeline's has hosted many weddings and parties. And the restaurant business has been strong.

Rob Tuznik said, "It has been good. It has been growing every month. People are coming not just once or twice, but over and over."
