Pot O Gold Dairy Sold to Crawford County Family
A Crawford County family has purchased Pot O Gold Dairy, according to a social media post.
The current owners of the fourth-generation, family-run dairy farm said they are working with the new owners to get the equipment moved and back in operation by early 2020.
The business will continue to operate under the Pot O Gold name and continue to use the existing formulations and ingredients.
The post announcing the sale said the owners are excited Pot O Gold will be able to continue providing fresh, local milk products to the area in glass bottles.
Pot O Gold has been selling fresh Jersey milk in pasteurized and homogenized skim, two percent, whole and chocolate. It is also licensed to sell raw milk.
The business is also known for the special flavors like strawberry, orange, root beer and back raspberry it sells once per year for the Warren County Fair.
The milk has been sold at retail outlets in Erie, Crawford, Warren and McKean counties.
