The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is reminding drivers the Yankee Dryer super load may impact traffic as it slowly travels through northwestern Pennsylvania.

Plans call for the load to start along Route 208 near Fryburg, Clarion County Wednesday. The travel route includes Route 36 in Clarion County, as well as Route 66 in Clarion and Forest counties.

The super load left the Port of Erie Thursday and is traveling to Lock Haven in Clinton County. The load will move through nine counties, including portions of Erie, Crawford, Venango and Forest counties before it arrives in Lock Haven Dec. 13.

Flaggers will be positioned along the route to help with traffic flow.

The super load will travel at speeds lower than 15 miles-per-hour.
