Pennsylvania State Police have identified the man killed in a single-vehicle crash in Washington Township Saturday evening.

It happened in the 6400 block of Route 6N near Silverthorn Rd. around 6:52 p.m.

The vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, hit a large boulder and rolled over onto its roof, State Police said.

The driver - David Yeaney, 66, of Albion - was found trapped in the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to troopers.

His passenger - Chadd Yeaney, 26, of Erie - was taken to UPMC Hamot where he is in stable condition and being treated for minor injuries, investigators said.

The crash closed Route 6N between Route 98 and Interstate 79 for approximately three hours.
