Pennsylvania State Government Sees Boost in Energy Efficiency
Pennsylvania's state government has reduced its electricity, natural gas and steam use by three percent.
One year ago today, Gov. Tom Wolf signed an executive order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 26 percent by 2025.
The order also sets a target of an 80 percent reduction by 2050.
In addition to reducing its carbon footprint, the state also plans to have 990 electric or hybrid vehicles in the state fleet within the next five years.
