It was still windy this morning when Erie residents woke up to branches and power lines that were down due to the storm last night. There were branches that were leaning on power lines which caused some outages in Summit Township. A few homes lost power early this morning due to the heavy winds.

Then, down by the Peninsula, while there may not have been any flooding or water on the streets, there were still many branches and trees that had fallen.
Some roads were even closed due to the debris the further you got into the peninsula.
Power lines were down as well and tangled up.

Many branches were already cleaned up and cut down by the afternoon.
