Deputies Identify Man Killed in Vehicle Crash with Manure Spreader in Chautauqua County
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's office has identified the man who died following a vehicle crash involving a manure spreader.
Jack N. Abbey, 64, of Sinclairville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Charlotte Center Rd. in the Town of Charlotte.
Deputies said Abbey was driving a pickup truck when it rear-ended a tractor hauling a manure spreader operated by Jason R. Johnson, 49, of Sinclairville.
The collision forced both vehicles to leave the road.
