Logistics plus teamed up with a local artist to welcome people back to Downtown Erie. The mural can be seen on the south side of the railroad bridge that crosses Peach Street between 14th and 15th Street.

The mural depicts positive messages such as, "Erie Strong."

The artist, Jason Mumford originally painted the bridge in 2006. Founder and CEO of Logistics Plus, Jim Berlin decided it was time for another paint job. Berlin also pointed out the timing of the mural's completion as Erie begins to reopen.

"Making sure we stand on our feet," said Berlin. "Move forward smart but move forward. So I think it's a big first step today for Erie to start coming back to life." '

Jason Mumford's work is not over as he gets set to paint the north side of the bridge as well as a similar bridge on Sassafras St.
