Plantscape Greenhouses Open in Time for Mother's Day After COVID-19 Closing

Plantscape Greenhouses in Fairview finally opened today, a month late because of the coronavirus.
We are focusing on Plantscape as we continue our series "Reopening Erie", looking at how businesses are welcoming back customers after being shut down because of COVID-19.
And customers did come back to shop at the 11 greenhouses filled with about 500,000 plants and flowers.
But they found a lot of changes including requirements to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
Cleaning has been increased all around the business.
Most customers taking everything in stride.
Owner Claudia Urda said, "My customers are great. They are abiding by the rules, practicing social distancing, being patient. So everything is going very, very well."
Plantscape did some curbside sales during the month long closing.
But still, revenue was down about 90%.
So getting back open is critical.
