Street art with a strong message; If you drive along peach street in Erie and Millcreek, artwork on buildings and other structures carries the message of "Black lives matter."

The artist goes by Reizen and he knew that he could use his talent to delivery messages of equality.

Reizen usually puts his name on his art but this time the art wasn't about him. Instead, the images features messages that say "Black lives matter" and murals of George Floyd who died in police custody on may 25.

Reizen says that he tried to post his art in popular locations to allow as many people as possible to see it.

"I believe it's a message that should be out in the world, something that everybody should be fighting for," said Reizen. "Sometimes people feel uncomfortable being forced to look at stuff but sometimes those people need to look at it the most."

Reizen says he has never worried about breaking the law when creating public art around Erie but right now he is even less concerned as he thinks his messages of equality are more important.
