Adagio Health's Mobile Health Unit to Begin Health, Wellness Services in Warren Beginning Wednesday
Adagio Health's new mobile health unit is set to begin biweekly stops in Warren County, the health provider announced Tuesday.
The mobile health unit will be stationed at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Liberty Street in downtown Warren on the first and third Wednesday of every month beginning Wednesday, August 5.
Health and wellness services will be provided in a 36-foot long vehicle equipped with a reception area, exam room, lab, and restroom. Clinical staff include a certified registered nurse practitioner and two medical assistants.
Available services will include breast and cervical cancer screening, family planning and reproductive health care, birth control (dispensed on-site), pregnancy testing, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing, basic infertility services, Adagio HealthCheck (basic health screenings and adult immunizations) and more. Many services are available regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Appointments and walk-ins will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. More information on the new service is available at the Adagio website.
