Superior Toyota in Millcreek Township has been purchased by New Castle-based Preston Auto Group. 

According to Preston Auto Group president Bobby Preston, the transaction will be finalized on November 2 when the dealership will become Toyota of Erie. 

Preston says Superior Toyota, located at 5615 Peach St., currently employs approximately 60 people. All employees are expected to be retained.

The company currently has ten locations in New Castle, Sharon and Boardman, Ohio. Toyota of Erie will be Preston Auto Group's eleventh location. 

Preston says the main focus will be to keep the exceptional level of service Superior customers have come to expect.
