Otters Unveil 25th Anniversary Logo & Jersey, Set to Open New Team Store

The Erie Otters on Wednesday unveiled a new logo for the team's 25th anniversary season as well as a commemorative third jersey.
“We are very excited to present a logo that makes us proud of our most cherished organizational accomplishments while tying in our home state recognition and, most importantly, what Erie and our community have come to know in our team's logo,” said general manager and vice president of operations Dave Brown. “The anniversary sweater has a sparkle that will allow us to remember the countless bright moments we have shared from our 25 years together. Lastly, we hope this jersey gives us all a sparkle and opportunity to be optimistic about our future. We are excited to share this time with our partners, passionate season ticket members, and the faithful Erie community, and we hope this brings brighter moments to the community moving forward.”
The anniversary logo features the Otters primary logo planted on the keystone background. The new-look also celebrates the two OHL Championships the Otters have won over the last 25 years.
Brown said the team expects to wear the jerseys on Saturday night home games during the 2021 and 2021-22 season. The 2021 OHL season is expected to open on February 4th.
Merchandise with the new anniversary logo will go on sale Friday, Nov. 20 on the team's online store. Merchandise can also be purchased at the brand-new team store located on the second floor of the addition to the Erie Insurance Arena. It is located on East 9th street downtown.
The team store will open under Holiday Hours: Open 11 am-5 pm Monday through Wednesday, 11 am-7 pm Thursday through Friday, and 10 am-2 pm on Saturday.
The new Otters commemorative jersey will be on sale in the near future, according to Brown.
