Cinemark Theatres, including Erie's Tinseltown, is set to bring some holiday joy to people who want to momentarily escape the reality of a world struggling with a pandemic. 

The company plans to offer giveaways, Private Watch Parties and more than 25 Christmas classics this holiday season. 

Cinemark Private Watch Parties allow friends and families to gather to enjoy an entertaining escape within their trusted group. 

Customers who purchase a Private Watch Party from Dec. 4 through Dec. 12 will be sent a $20 discount to gift a Private Watch Party to a friend or family member. 

Some of the movies included in the holiday comeback classics include Elf, Love Actually, The Polar Express, It's a Wonderful Life, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Santa Clause, Frozen and more. 

Cinemark is also offering other giveaways, contests and gift card specials throughout the season.

Private Watch Parties are $99 and can be booked now for the rest of the year, including New Year's Eve, at Cinemark.com and on the Cinemark app.
