Pennsylvania State Police are investigating reports of child pornography found on a computer at Fairview Manor, according to a news release.

Troopers said they were informed a suspect may possess the pornographic images of children on his computer at the facility between Jan. 2 and 4.

In a statement, Fairview Manor said it quickly notified authorities after the discovery was made.

"We want to assure those we serve and their loved ones, that our organization has well established protocols for handling misconduct situations," Fairview Manor said in a statement. "We are being fully cooperative with the police department by following their instructions and investigation process."

“The health, safety, and well-being of our residents is our priority,” said Jonali Derry, administrator at Fairview Manor, in the statement. “We are saddened by this situation and the allegations. We want our staff, residents, and their family members to know there is no threat to their safety. We will continue to cooperate in the process with authorities and by the state regulations for our industry."

No other details, including a name or age for the suspect or charges, have been released.

The investigation is ongoing, State Police said.
