Frustrated governors are starting to ask the private sector to bring their expertise to the COVID-19 vaccine distribution problem.

Starbucks is one of several companies willing to help.

Although it's great news some people are getting their first even second doses, many others are wondering how long they'll have to wait.

Erie's Logistics Plus said leaning on the private sector to help is the right idea because it is a global business which is all about supply and distribution solutions.

It has already helped to move PPE because of the company's direct contacts in China and would like to be asked to help with vaccine

"For Logistics Plus, our corporate philosophy is just say yes and figure it out," said Gretchen Seth, senior vice president of international for Logistics Plus. "We would try to cut through as much of the bureaucracy as we could in order to keep things moving. It's what we do in our business day-to-day."

Logistics Plus experts hope the government leans more heavily on the supply chain experts to help pick up the pace of vaccine distribution.
