A local mother is pleading for answers four months after her son was shot and killed in East Erie.

Kas'ir Gambill was shot and killed in December while walking with a relative near the intersection of 20th and Franklin Streets.

So far, no arrests have been made, and his mother, Allieshea Gambill-Brown, wants answers and closure.

She says the last four months have been a nightmare, as she constantly thinks of her son, knowing that his killer is still free.

She's asking anyone with information to come forward, giving some peace to her family.

"I wake up in clod sweats, wishing he was here," she said. "And once I wake up and know this is reality, I want to go back into that dream."
