In the past week, the CDC announced that it's safe to vaccinate children against Covid-19. They also declared that people no longer need to wear masks if they are vaccinated.

So, we wanted to know if the latest information is changing parent's opinions about getting their children vaccinated.

We asked parents and children visiting Waldameer on opening weekend.

Parents who are already vaccinated themselves say it's a relief and they plan to get their children vaccinated too as long as they're old enough.

Julia Sellers said,  "It feels good and we are happy we are proud to be fully vaccinated."

Victoria Keister said, "My children have not they are all young, but I am fully vaccinated, but I think we will be extra safe and take the normal precautions."

A few children we spoke to said they would also be interested in getting the vaccine.
