Waldameer and Waterworld always draws big crowds on holidays weekends, but this year after a few incidents over the past month, a holiday at the park will look a little different.

This year, you must pre-order tickets for the Fourth of July.

Paul Nelson, the owner of Waldameer and Waterworld explained, "You will see there won't be the free admission into the park and that's the sort of thing, because the good people will get punished by the bad people, and that's not fair and I hope that I don't have to do that."

Nelson said after a fight during opening weekend and a medical emergency in the last month and with large crowds expected, he thinks knowing exactly who's in the park will make for a smoother and safer weekend.

There will be extra security on hand for the Fourth of July weekend and management said the way to pre-order your tickets is fast and efficient.

All tickets must be pre-ordered on Waldameer's website. It's like ordering anything else online and it will get customers into the park quickly. No tickets will also be sold after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Andrew Felice, the Operations Manager at Waldameer said, "Tickets will be emailed to you, we can have your tickets printed out or have them scan them directly to your phone so very simple."

Little changes will be made this weekend, but they should all add up to getting people into the park and having fun faster.

"We will only sell tickets on the internet period, we won't have people waiting in line to go through a cashier", said Nelson.
