It's been some Olympic journey for Detroit, Michigan native Elizabeth Darling.

The Erie resident is getting set to work her third Summer Olympics in Toyko.

She will serve as medical representative for the U.S.A. Rhythmic Gymnastics team. 

Elizabeth joins Edinboro University Head Trainer Gary Hanna and former Scots Head Trainer George Roberts as local residents, who have worked with the best athletes in the U.S.

Darling also worked the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics.
