Among those looking forward to the Summer Olympic Games is Millcreek Township School Superintendent, Dr. Ian Roberts.

He competed in the 2000 Sydney, Australia Summer Games as a middle-distance runner.

He did not reach the finals in the 800, but still has strong memories 21 years later.

The 50 year-old Roberts still runs at least 5 days a week and up to six miles per day.

Dr. Roberts won his first International Medal in 1999, at the Central America and Caribbean Championships.
