The U.S. Army Field Concert Band & Army Chorus performed At The Highmark Amphitheater tonight
The band will be celebrating 75 years this year.

They travel all over the country and the elite 65-member instrumental ensemble, founded in 1946, has performed in all 50 states and 25 foreign countries for audiences totaling more than 100 million tours. They hadn't performed in 18 months since the beginning of the pandemic.

The crowd came out to support the us army forces band and to show support to those who just lost their live in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Kaci Lewandowski who has played in the band for three years told us how much of an honor it is to be apart of such a legendary ensemble.

To be able to keep the History of the The U.S. Army Field Concert Band going is such an honor." said Sgt Kaci  Lewandowski.
