Repairs will soon start on part of Route 62 along the Allegheny River in Pleasant Township, Warren County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.

A 440-foot gabion basket retaining wall will be built along the northbound lane of the roadway near the intersection with River Valley Rd. Minor shoulder reconstruction and drainage and pavement marking updates are also part of the project.

Work is expected to start Monday, weather-permitting, and will be completed in early November.

Horizon Construction Group was awarded the $311,990 contract, which will be paid using state funds.

Flaggers will direct traffic in the area, and drivers are asked to watch out for changing traffic patterns.
