The Waterford community food bank held a ribbon cutting and open house after opening a larger facility to aid those in need.

Valerie Rose has volunteered there for 5 years and couldn't be happier about the expansion. She hope this new larger location keeps them spread out and helps more people in need.

The facility assists local families with not just food but toiletries, baby diapers and more.

They've been in the community since 1984 and currently serve over 178 people. The new location is 140 W sixth street, Waterford, PA.
