Thousands of shoppers came out to start holiday shopping on Black Friday and gathered for holiday parades.

All while there's a security guard shortage.


Former FBI Agent Jerry Clark is the owner of Fischer Security.

He's sees first hand how the shortage of guards affects our region during the holidays.

"Securities no different from the other hiring issues. We are always looking for qualified people that are interested in security." explained Clark.

His security company's motto is to Prevent and Protect. Just having extra security guards present can help stop another tragedy.
