Earlier this week we told you about a shortage of Christmas trees, now apparently, holiday lights are just as hard to find.

But to avoid running into shortages, one Erie neighborhood started planning their annual Christmas light display back in May.

They threw a planning party where they began ordering over the Summer.

Last month almost everything came in but they were still missing blue lights.

Like a true Christmas miracle they were delivered in time for December first.

Despite facing these challenges they love doing it year after year.

"Lets face it the last couple years haven't been the greatest and people can ride around and look at Christmas lights,  they enjoy it. Them enjoying it is what brings us joy", said Greg Abyss.

They were even able to synchronize the lights with a local station 90.1.

To check out the lights go to Southern Drive in Erie.
