Mercyhurst University students prepared an annual dinner for 24 area members of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

The 12 student volunteers worked with a professional chef in order to honor the veterans.

Mercyhurst University is known as a Purple Heart University.

The university Students hope to host more meals in the future. 

The Military Order of the Purple Heart recommends any Veterans interested in attending a meeting contact them.
