Congressman Mike Kelly (R-PA) is seeking re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022, his campaign announced Monday.

He made the announcement in a campaign video posted to YouTube.

“I’ve always said it’s not about me, it’s about the people of this district—hardworking families who feel the impact of government decisions directly in their pocketbook," said Kelly in a statement. "I want to continue to fight for them."

If re-elected, Kelly will serve his 7th term in Congress. He was first elected in 2010 when he defeated former Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper.

Kelly faces redistricting as the boundaries of Pennsylvania's elective districts are redrawn to maintain equal representation based on population.
